According to Ivan Tymochko, Russian President Vladimir Putin is not sure that he will have serious advantages during the negotiations.
The Russian occupation forces will suffer record personnel losses in Ukraine in the next two months, as the Kremlin needs to gain better negotiating positions before Donald Trump's inauguration. This was stated in an interview with RBC Ukraine by the head of the Land Forces Reservists Council, Ivan Tymochko.
“We will definitely have record numbers in the last two months, as Trump's inauguration is getting closer,” Tymochko said.
He specified that over the past 24 hours alone, the Russian Armed Forces have lost over 2,000 servicemen, which is already a record. But, according to the military, there will be significantly more dead Russian occupiers ahead.
Tymochko explained that Vladimir Putin is “far from sure” that he will have serious advantages during the negotiations announced by Donald Trump and his team.
“Putin understands perfectly well that entering into negotiations in the situation he is in now is a position of serious weakness. The second army of the world is languishing in our Donetsk region, which it wanted to occupy in three days, with crazy record losses, unable to win, to fulfill its own plans,” Tymochko emphasized.
