2
There are many dishes made from pumpkin, but what to do with its seeds? Try making salted seeds in the oven and you will have something to crunch on instead of store-bought snacks.
Details
Rinse 200 g of raw pumpkin seeds in cold water, clean them of any remaining softness and mucus that is usually present after the seeds are harvested.
Dissolve 1 tsp. salt (preferably sea salt) in 50 ml of water. Pour the solution over the seeds and soak for 5-10 minutes.
In the meantime, turn on the oven, it should be preheated to 170 degrees.
Place the seeds on a baking sheet in a single layer, pre-covering it with parchment.
Cook for 15-20 minutes. The seeds will be slightly salty, dry and with a toasted aroma.
You can store the salted seeds in a closed jar, but it is better to eat them immediately, because they are very tasty.
