Schools may be left without heat: what awaits students in winter

Critical situation in schools.
If they cannot provide heating, then education will be transferred to a distance format. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrii Stashkiv told about this in his interview.
Currently, the situation with electricity and heating in winter looks uncertain. Different scenarios are possible in different regions of Ukraine, so each school will make its own decision. The main requirement is to maintain a comfortable temperature regime for children. If this cannot be ensured, students will study from home.
Although 80% of schools already have generators, this does not guarantee that they will be able to operate as usual if there is no electricity in the winter. The deputy minister noted that schools that have their own boiler rooms can maintain the required temperature and work even if the light goes out. But it will be more difficult to organize in those institutions where the boiler houses serve the entire district.
If such a critical situation arises, then schools will have to temporarily switch to distance learning. The modern online format is becoming more and more popular, because it allows you to continue studying regardless of the conditions. For example, the distance school “Optima” offers students a flexible schedule, an individual approach and new methods, which allows you to receive quality education without compromise.
Get demo access and make sure that your child will study in comfortable conditions, even if the school is temporarily closed due to heating problems.
