Scientists: Beer mug per day reduces the risk of diabetes

one mug of beer a day is enough to reduce the risk of developing diabetes. The corresponding conclusions were made by scientists from China representing the Southeastern University. Scientists have analyzed the results of ten different studies involving more than 575 people. All work considers the relationship between alcohol and type 2 diabetes. As a result, they concluded that small doses of alcohol improve the process of metabolization of glucose, which entails a decrease in insulin levels. In addition, alcohol was associated with reduced triglycerides. The high level of these fats is often observed in diabetics that do not monitor their health, as a risk factor for problems with the cardiovascular system. The authors of the work note that more accurate conclusions they need additional research.
