Scientists: Excess calcium in the body can lead to cancer

Researchers at Tufts University, located in the USA, have discovered a link between calcium-containing food supplements and cancer.

Data from 30,000 people was analyzed regarding their use of biologically active supplements and vitamins.
Such drugs are currently actively used for a variety of purposes.

It turned out that the use of magnesium, zinc, copper, or vitamins A and K really helps strengthen the body and reduces the level of diseases and mortality. However, these elements should come from food, not from such popular food supplements.

But as for calcium, the situation is completely different. The probability of death from cancer in people who take it in slightly increased doses was twice as high as in those who did not take it.

In addition, studies have shown that excessive use of vitamin D can be deadly. If there is no deficiency in the body, then you should not take drugs with it, otherwise the risk of death from any cause increases significantly.

In general, before using any food supplements, you must consult a specialist and in no case should you take them “just in case”.
