Scientists have determined a free way to prolong life

Researchers state that “simple and free daily habit”.
The question of why some people live much longer than others continues to worry science. Scientists have determined that one daily lifestyle habit is linked to a longer lifespan.
Therefore, what scientists consider so important for prolonging life is a regular sleep pattern.
In their study, they analyzed the sleep pattern in relation to the biochemical profile of elderly and young people. A number of tests were performed, including polysomnography, a comprehensive test used to diagnose sleep disorders, and a blood test for cholesterol.
As a result, the scientists determined that people who made up the most mature cohort of subjects (over 85 years old) very carefully followed a strictly regular sleep and wakefulness regime – in other words, they went to bed and woke up at the same time almost every day. They also had a higher level of “good” HDL cholesterol and a lower level of the fatty components of triglycerides in the blood. Experts explain that HDL cholesterol helps remove excess “bad” LDL cholesterol, thereby reducing the risk of heart disease. As for triglycerides, this type of fat in large quantities increases the risk of atherosclerosis and heart disease.
Thus, the data obtained show that regular sleep can reduce the risk of heart disease, the number one killer worldwide. Scientists consider this habit extremely important for maintaining a healthy lipid profile and prolonging life. Experts remind us that most adults need six to nine hours of sleep every night. You should establish a regular bedtime schedule, and try to wake up at the same time every day, experts emphasize.
