Sweet sodas have long been enemy for many people who lead a healthy lifestyle. However, their danger is not even in the high sugar content. Recently, scientists proved that carbonated water has a very negative effect on the brain and its cognitive functions.
Based on the latest research, Holly Claymer concluded that sweet carbonated water increases the risk of Alzheimer's disease three times.
Another doctor recalled that carbonated water usually contains a large amount of caffeine, which reduces the quality of sleep, provokes lethargy and irritability.
Also, it recently became known that in large quantities caffeine contributes to an increase in eye pressure, and this in turn leads to vision problems.
