Sex coach Kate Taylor commented on a study by the American Atrium clinic, according to which 59 percent of women sleep better after sex.
According to Taylor, sex can be a fun alternative to sleeping pills that brings a couple together. “When we have sex, the body produces the hormones prolactin and oxytocin, which, like sleeping pills, cause drowsiness,” the specialist explained the impact of intimacy on the quality and strength of sleep.
She also recommended the most successful positions. “For relaxed sex, choose positions that provide close contact and hugging – missionary, for example, rather than doggy style – because skin-to-skin contact helps produce oxytocin,” Taylor said.
