Scientists have figured out how to lose weight and build muscle mass in eight hours

Scientists managed to establish in the framework of the experiment how to significantly lose weight and build muscle mass in just eight hours. The study was conducted by specialists from Australia, representing the University of Sydney.
The participants in the experiment were about 40 postmenopausal women who lead a sedentary lifestyle and are overweight. The volunteers were divided into two groups, the first of which was expected to do a set of exercises, and the second – not. Those women who participated in sprint training on an exercise bike for eight weeks managed to lose 0.4 kg, gaining 0.7 kg of muscle mass, while the total training time for two months was only eight hours. In addition, the aerobic endurance of such volunteers increased by 12%.
The authors of the work note that the positive effect is observed only in cases where such loads on an exercise bike occur regularly.
