Academicians conducted a study. They surveyed about 100 thousand people.
Respondents answered questions about a healthy diet and weight control. In addition, the experts were interested in whether there was nicotine addiction and how much alcohol was consumed per week, as well as whether people exercised for 30 minutes every day.
The average life expectancy of men who followed a healthy lifestyle was 87 years, and women – 93 years.
The average life expectancy of men who did not monitor their health was 76 years, and women – 79 years.
