During the study of immune cells, experts stated the benefits of fasting without food and water. The corresponding scientific work was conducted by employees of the Baylor College of Medicine.
As it became known, fasting for 3-4 weeks has various effects on mononuclear proteins of peripheral blood cells.
In early scientific works, experts discovered a relationship between disruption of circadian rhythms and oncology, as well as metabolic syndrome. In this regard, dry fasting can act as a reset to the standard circadian rhythm, noted scientist Ayse Leyla Mindikoglu.
The results of this scientific work showed the positive effect of dry fasting at the cellular level. For the first time, scientists managed to conduct a successful study of the proteome of immune cells in people suffering from metabolic syndrome.
