Scientists have found that one product can reduce visceral fat

Visceral fat surrounds the organs inside the abdomen. Its excess increases the risk of various serious diseases, including diabetes, fatty liver disease, and heart disease.

One of the studies showed that including whole grain bread in the diet can reduce the amount of visceral fat.

Participants were divided into two groups: one consumed refined wheat bread and the other consumed whole wheat bread for 12 weeks. The group of participants who consumed whole grain bread showed a reduction in visceral fat area, while the other group had no significant changes.

“The whole grain bread diet resulted in a significant and safe reduction in visceral fat area. Such bread can contribute to the prevention of visceral obesity”, experts concluded.
