According to the study, in regions with a large number of it is not customary for long-lived people to consume certain products.
On our planet there are “blue zones” – places where the population is characterized by a high concentration of long-lived people. Scientist Dan Buettner, known for his work on studying the characteristics of life in such regions, concluded that their local residents do not eat or use very limited amounts of certain foods.
Fast food. Products , which belong to fast food cuisine, prevent longevity because they are often fried, saturated with calories, fat or trans fats, flavor enhancers. The result of their constant eating can be high blood pressure and high cholesterol in the blood, as well as excess weight, which is closely related to heart disease and cancer.
Foods with added sugar. Processed foods containing added sugar and a high concentration of rapidly digestible carbohydrates also contribute to obesity and diseases that prevent longevity (for example, diabetes). Scientists recommend consuming sugar in an amount not exceeding 28 grams per day.
Processed meat. Products made from it contain salt, preservatives – all in high doses. According to the data, their regular consumption can cause coronary heart disease to appear, which is a precursor to a heart attack.
Fizzy drinks. Scientists have determined that people prone to longevity, do not drink them in everyday life.
