Scientists have named the amount of sugar that is safe for health
0
A group of scientists from the Netherlands observed people who consumed sugar every day for over 30 years, as well as those who did not consume it at all.
Scientists monitored the health of people participating in the study throughout this period. They also recorded the cause of death, if any. As a result, it turned out that there was no significant difference in the number of cardiovascular and other diseases between the groups of people who consumed sugar and those who completely gave it up. At the same time, the scientists noted that the participants in the experiment put only one teaspoon of sugar in a cup of tea or coffee.
Based on this, it was concluded that a safe dose of sugar for a person is 5 g (a teaspoon). For comparison: if you drink a can of a sweet drink, the body will immediately receive 25 grams of sugar, which is certainly extremely harmful to it.
