Scientists have listed the symptoms of serious diseases of the organs of vision, with which you should urgently consult a doctor. The recommendations were given by Professor Martin Spitzer from the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.

< p>According to the scientist, a dangerous symptom is when a person has different pupils: one reacts to light and darkness, the other does not change. This disease is called anisocoria, and behind it can be hidden an increase in intracranial and intraocular pressure, nerve damage, a tumor in the brain or a hemorrhage in the brain. The doctor insists that the symptom of different pupils must be checked by an ophthalmologist.

Fear is also caused by a flash of light in the eyes – this is a sign of retinal detachment, as a result of which blindness develops. Patients with myopia and diabetes are at risk.

Among the serious symptoms are black dots in the eyes, double vision, redness and sudden deterioration of vision. In all these cases, it is important to act quickly and seek medical attention.
