Scientists have named the type of people who are less likely than others to have a stroke
The study of susceptibility to strokes belongs to specialists at the University of Michigan (USA).
6000 people participated in the scientific work. All of them were over 50 years old and none had previously suffered a stroke. While the scientists were monitoring the health indicators of their patients, 88 people died due to cerebral hemorrhage. This happened in a two-year period.
Scientists found that there were no optimists among those people who died due to a stroke. In addition, the authors of the study found that people with a positive attitude generally got sick less.
It is noteworthy that among optimists there is also an absolutely minimal number of heart attacks.
– My colleagues and I believe that an optimistic outlook on life strengthens immunity. In addition, explains Professor Eric Kim. – A positive mood definitely helps patients to recover from a serious illness and recover faster.
