Joint efforts of American and Brazilian scientists have created a special type of protein that kills pathogenic bacteria with which antibiotics can cope.

The substance is synthesized using the venom of the Asian wasp. And thanks to the manipulations of chemists, it has become safe for human life and health, because in its natural form, the poison is dangerous and can lead to death.

The secret of the success of the protein application lies in the mast-L peptide, the component eliminates the bacterial membrane , which allows to eliminate pathogens resistant even to antibiotics.

According to the developers, the substance can be an effective alternative to standard antibiotics.
