Scientists reveal how to make perfect pancakes

A method proposed by a group of scientists from New Zealand and France helps to cook pancakes with a uniform, perfectly flat surface.
The journal Pysical Review Fluids reported on the work of scientific specialists in its article. Having studied the movement of the dough, the scientists were able to create an equation that determines its distribution across the pan when baking pancakes. The researchers concluded that the quality of pancakes during their preparation is affected by gravity, the condition of the walls of the pan, the temperature of its bottom, changes in the viscosity and density of the dough, as well as a number of other parameters.
As a result, experts formulated an algorithm, acting in accordance with which you can get the title of a true master of making pancakes.
Therefore, according to the scientific approach, to bake perfectly even pancakes you need to do the following:
- pour the dough into the center of the pan,
- tilt the pan by about 10 degrees so that the dough reaches the edge,
- swirl the pan so that the dough, moving in a circle, fills its surface,
- level the pan and wait until the dough is fried.
According to the authors of the technology, this method can also be effectively used when painting surfaces.
