The US resident celebrated his 106th birthday at the beginning of September and talked about two main principles that helped him live to such an age. This is reported by WINK-TV.
According to the publication, Harold Schaller was born in 1916. During the Second World War, he went to the front, and after finishing, started a family. Schaller admitted that the most valuable things in his life are his wife and children.
When asked about the secret of his longevity, the man said: “Not to die.” The American also advised young people not to age as long as possible. At the same time, he called the ability not to argue with his wife the secret of family happiness.
Schaller celebrated his birthday in the circle of friends and family and expressed the hope of having the same party for his 107th birthday.
