Italian scientists conducted a study with the participation of 68 residents of the Abruzzo region who reached the age of 90-100 years. During the scientific work, the volunteers were asked about their eating habits and other living conditions, the research report said. At the same time, the break between dinner and breakfast of the next day was 17.5 hours on average. At the same time, they ate a moderate amount of meat and eggs, and consumed few sweets.
In addition, the long-lived among the study participants maintained a moderate level of physical activity throughout their lives.
