Seizures and loss of coordination may be signs of brain cancer

The oncologist said that the development of brain cancer can occur for a long time without any symptoms.

The oncologist spoke in an interview about the features of such a dangerous disease as brain cancer.

“Brain cancer can have serious consequences, since this organ is responsible for many important functions, including speech, memory, motor skills and thinking,” the doctor noted.

The doctor added that the disease can begin and develop asymptomatically for quite a long time.

“Similar to other oncological diseases diseases, brain cancer may not have symptoms at the beginning of its development. It is often found during examinations for diseases not related to oncology,” the doctor shared.

In cases where signs of brain cancer do appear, they often turn out to be non-specific. Other diseases that are oncological also manifest themselves with these same symptoms. For example, signs of brain cancer can be seizures and impaired coordination.

The oncologist listed the possible symptoms of brain cancer:

  • headache;
  • convulsions;
  • weakness or numbness in the limbs;
  • impaired coordination;
  • problems with vision and speech;
  • memory impairment;
  • personality disorder.

The appearance of these disorders requires a visit to a doctor, the specialist emphasized.
