Low protein. The habit of eating foods depleted in protein is generally condemned by doctors. But as you age, the harm of this eating style increases, because with age the body loses muscle mass. If people after 60 do not get enough protein, their withering, physical weakness develop more intensively.
Low moisture. Scientific experts state that, as people age, they feel thirst less and less. Meanwhile, water is necessary for normal metabolism and the removal of potentially harmful, toxic components, the accumulation of which increases the risk of diseases, including cancer.
Later eating. A long period from evening to morning the next day without eating has a better effect on the body's ability to maintain a stable blood sugar level. Late and night snacks increase the risk of diabetes and other metabolic disorders.
Low fiber. The habit of eating soft, pureed food, dislike of vegetables and legumes is also one of the most harmful. Fiber prevents the growth of cholesterol and sugar levels, stimulates the growth of beneficial flora in the intestines and its peristalsis. Its deficiency has a bad effect not only on digestion, but also on the state of immunity.
