Several warning signs indicating a weakened immune system

Frequent colds, a feeling of lack of energy can be associated with a weakened immune system.
Our immune system protects the body from infections: viral, bacterial, fungal. Its cells recognize and neutralize harmful pathogens that penetrate it. In cases where the body's immune defenses weaken, you can observe some signs that warn of a problem.
Persistent digestive disorders.Almost 70% of the immune system is concentrated in the intestines. Beneficial intestinal bacteria stimulate the growth of T cells – immune cells responsible for distinguishing between native and foreign components. When the level of these bacteria decreases, the risk of viral infection and susceptibility to chronic inflammation, autoimmune diseases increases. The balance of good and bad bacteria in the intestines is adversely affected by the consumption of processed, saturated fats and artificial sugars, and the presence of chronic gastrointestinal diseases. Warning signs of poor intestinal flora can be diarrhea, flatulence or constipation, which manifest as recurring symptoms.
Slow healing of skin lesions.Another sign that indicates a weakened immune system. The regeneration of skin tissues after damage depends on the immune response. When the immune system is not strong enough, it limits the body's ability to produce new cells to replace the damaged ones.
Severe fatigue. A persistent feeling of physical exhaustion (even after getting enough sleep) can also signal problems with the immune system: a similar symptom occurs when the body tries to conserve energy to fuel the immune system while fighting pathogens.
Frequent colds. Adults on average catch a cold two to three times a year, but if you suffer from colds more often, this may be a sign of unhappiness.
Anxiety and stress. In a state of stress, the body produces corticosteroids, which suppress the effectiveness of the immune system, reducing the number of lymphocytes in the body. If a person's stressful and anxious behavior continues for a long time, this makes the immune system more vulnerable. A person who is under severe stress should consult a psychiatrist, the consequences of such a condition can be dangerous.
