Simple apple pie recipe with cinnamon

What could be better than the smell of a freshly baked pie filling the house? Apple pie with cinnamon is a classic that never gets old.

Ingredients:

  • flour – 300 g
  • butter – 150 g
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • sugar – 100 g
  • apples – 4-5 pcs.
  • cinnamon – 1 tsp.
  • lemon juice – 1 tbsp.

Mix the flour, butter, egg and half the sugar. Knead the dough, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the apples into slices, sprinkle with lemon juice, mix with the remaining sugar and cinnamon.

Roll out the dough and place in a mold, making sides. Add the apple filling, bake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes.

Interestingly, cinnamon not only adds flavor, but also enhances the natural sweetness of apples, so you can reduce the amount of sugar. The pie will turn out soft and crispy at the same time thanks to the base. The aroma is simply mesmerizing!
