Six eating habits that may indicate an eating disorder

There are certain eating habits that people think are “healthy”, but in reality they are only harmful to the body. Try to get rid of such habits.
If you notice at least one of the following habits in yourself, then this is a reason to consult a specialist.
Intends to skip meals. This habit or replacing food with non-caloric drinks is an alarm signal. This may indicate that you have an eating disorder.
Constantly counting calories. Getting it right can be difficult without consulting a nutritionist. In addition, if you count the number of calories even in low-calorie foods (mustard, spices, hot sauce), then this may indicate an eating disorder.
Obsession with food quality. This type of eating disorder is called orthorexia. In this case, a person experiences stress and anxiety related to food choices. This can also affect their mental health.
Eating only certain safe foods. Fear of eating is often reported by people with irritable bowel syndrome. Since this syndrome is not treated, people who suffer from it often develop eating disorders. Because of this, they may undereat, skip meals, and stick to only certain “safe” foods.
Feelings of guilt are associated with food. You can experience it immediately after eating.
Avoiding entire food groups. This will make you feel restricted and more likely to overeat later. An eating disorder is indicated by the refusal of certain food groups due to fear of gaining weight or because it will have a bad effect on health.
