Six growing factors that lavender absolutely dislikes
1
Lavender is in the top ten among the plants that are most often planted in flower beds. It is not surprising, because these beautiful fragrant balls are always desirable near paths, in mixborders, on alpine slides. In addition to the fact that the plant is attractive from a decorative point of view, it is also able to repel mosquitoes during the flowering period.
What lavender does not like
It is believed that lavender is not such a capricious plant. It grows in one place for many years, and with regular feeding it develops and blooms beautifully. The main thing to know is that this plant does not like:
- ferns located nearby;
- acidic soil;
- shaded flower beds;
- excessive moisture;
- growing near water bodies;
- groundwater.
Create comfortable conditions for lavender. In this case, it will grow beautifully and not give cause for concern. After all, no one worries near it, because it is a calming plant.
Plant lavender in a sunny flower bed, deacidify the soil, feed it, water it in a timely manner, but make sure that there is no stagnation of water. Under such conditions, it will grow and bloom perfectly.
