Six products that effectively maintain hair thickness

Many people who follow an unbalanced diet suffer from hair loss (along with brittle nails).

The following six foods, according to research, are among the most important suppliers of nutrients for thick hair.

Red pepper.< /strong>Contains high amounts of two important vitamins for hair (and nails): vitamin C and beta-carotene (a precursor to vitamin A). Vitamin C helps produce collagen, which is important for hair’s longevity and resistance to breakage. At the same time, this nutrient prevents oxidative stress, which can contribute to hair loss and premature graying. Vitamin A also ensures healthy sebum production, so hair doesn’t become too oily or too dry. On the other hand, a lack of vitamin A can lead to hair loss.

Whole grain bread. It is one of the excellent sources of zinc, in the absence of which there is no full-fledged cell growth. Hair consists of cells that grow and divide especially quickly, they need a constant supply of zinc. The mineral also supports the normal regeneration cycle and thus effectively protects against hair loss.

Wheat germ oil. A tablespoon of wheat germ oil covers the body's daily need for vitamin E, which is necessary, among other things, for shiny and thick hair. It stimulates the follicles to develop well and produce thick, wear-resistant hair. Studies have shown that people suffering from hair loss often have low levels of vitamin E.

Oat bran. One of the most important building materials that ensure the strength and elasticity of the skin, hair and nails, there is silicon (silicic acid). In addition to silicon, oatmeal provides the body with valuable proteins, which are also necessary for healthy hair growth.
