It is recommended to eat canned meat, fish, fruit and vegetables once a week. These products contain few vitamins, but they contain a lot of salt and various preservatives.
At the same time, products that have undergone sterilization, pasteurization, freezing and drying are not dangerous for health. Babies under the age of three should not be given canned food, except for those intended for baby food. It is not recommended to eat such food for people suffering from hypertension.
The same applies to pregnant women and patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, lactation and osteoporosis. Stew should be bought in a glass container. It should be taken into account that the composition of these canned goods should not include vegetable proteins and starch. If the can is swollen, it should be thrown away.
Canned fish contains a lot of magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, chromium, zinc, selenium and omega-3 fatty acids. It is recommended to choose products in your own juice. Canned vegetables should not be abused, as most of the vitamins were lost during their production.
