Spanish doctors warned about the dangers of cooked rice

Cooked rice stored at room temperature even a short period of time can be dangerous for the body, according to Spanish doctors. According to them, its grains contain spores of the bacterium Bacilius cereus, which are in a dormant state and are awakened by contact with water.
The cooking process does not destroy them completely, therefore, in cooked rice, these microorganisms continue to remain active and secrete toxic substances Eating such rice can cause poisoning, accompanied by characteristic symptoms – nausea, stool disorders.
“No one puts cooked rice immediately in the refrigerator, and while it cools at room temperature, bacteria continue to multiply,” – warned the Spanish experts.
Experts state that dangerous microbes are afraid of the cold, so cooked rice must be put in the refrigerator as soon as possible. But even there, the product should not be stored for more than one or two days.
