Doctors name the five less common signs of a stroke that you should be aware of.
Even if you think that a stroke is not a threat, knowing its symptoms is useful – such knowledge can save a life. Doctors note that a stroke can happen to anyone, at any age and at any time. According to doctors at the Stroke Association, there are uncommon symptoms that they say should be taken seriously.
- Sudden weakness or numbness on one side of the body, including the legs, arms or feet.
- Difficulty choosing words, inability to speak normally.
- Sudden blurred vision or loss of vision in one or both eyes.
- Sudden memory loss or confusion.

If any of these symptoms occur, call an ambulance.
< p>Scientists remind that some factors increase the risk of stroke: it includes smoking, high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, excessive alcohol consumption, sedentary lifestyle, stress. Strokes are more likely to occur over the age of 55, but a quarter of them occur in young people.
