Students will be expelled for refusing basic military training, the government decreed
1 < p>The procedure for conducting basic combined military training provides for the expulsion of students from universities for refusing to undergo training.
According to the document, basic training is conducted in institutions of higher education of all forms of ownership.
“Refusal of a male student who is recognized as suitable for military service to undergo practical training of basic training is grounds for his expulsion from the educational institution “, the resolution reads.
The document specifies that basic training is included in educational programs as a separate academic discipline and consists of theoretical training and practical training.
Theoretical training is carried out in the second year of study. Practical training is carried out after mastering the theoretical training in the current academic year for a period of up to one month during May – October at the expense of the time allocated for vacation.
As reported by RBC-Ukraine, the government approved the Procedure for conducting basic combined military training for citizens of Ukraine , who are getting a higher education, and police officers.
According to the document, male citizens of Ukraine (females – voluntarily) who study full-time or dually receive education undergo basic training.
