Stylists gave advice on how to wash hair less often

Many are annoyed by the fact that the head should be washed approx. once every two days to keep hair looking clean. How often hair gets dirty depends on care and genetics. Some even have to do it every day. Stylists gave tips that will help hair stay neat for several days.

Usually, the strands that are closer to the face get dirty the fastest. This problem occurs in people with oily skin type. In this case, it is better to remove the hair with hairpins. The same applies to washing procedures and applying creams. Before that, you should prick your hair. Also, those who prefer to walk with loose hair often unknowingly fix it with their hands. Experts do not advise doing this – the strands also get dirty faster.

Another important nuance is that the comb must be clean, especially in the case of oily scalp. Because in addition to dust and dirt, it combs “care” from the hair. As a result, particles of skin, sebum, and hairspray accumulate on it. In this regard, the comb should be washed every day so that the hair also remains cleaner. Or, in order not to suffer with it, you can start several combs.

There is also a “magical” remedy for cases when time simply does not allow to wash your hair – dry shampoo. It is also used to add volume to the roots. It is enough to spray a little product on the hair and comb it. But this method is for emergency cases, it cannot be used too often, otherwise there is a risk of “clogged” pores on the head.

It is better to wash your head with sulfate-free shampoos – they are available in any cosmetics store or pharmacy. Such products are slightly different in consistency and foam worse, but the effect will be noticeable after a couple of weeks. Experts also remind that you should not wash your head with hot water, otherwise the sebaceous glands will start working even more actively. It is better to stop at warm water.
