The compost was and is one of the best types of fertilizers for country plots. You need to stock up on them and work on replenishing them every year. If natural fertilizer is needed. then it must be compost.
About compost readiness
The composting process is not instantaneous. It takes time. Of course, you can speed up the process with special EM drugs, but you need to be able to assess the readiness of the mass. In a natural mode, it takes about 1-2 years for compost, and with auxiliary drugs, the result can be achieved in a few months. In any case, the compost can reach both earlier than the expected time and later.
Evaluate the compost visually. If you don't see the remains of plants and other components you put in it, and it crumbles well in your hands, it is ready for use. A homogeneous mass is a sign of readiness.
You can also evaluate it by color. The finished compost should be brown. In particular, it leaves an unpleasant smell. When the mass is ready, it smells more like something forest than rotten. So a visual assessment will help determine the readiness of the compost.
