No matter how much you pull that grass out of the ground, it keeps growing. Along with it, dandelion, wheatgrass and other well-known plants. They were not “invited”, but they continue to grow actively. You can fight weeds in an ecological way. Read about it further in the post.
What summer residents can do
Weeds prevent currant bushes from growing and developing. They can not only flood them, but also take away nutrients. Competition will not lead to anything good.
According to the recommendation of supporters of ecological gardening, you need to use cardboard. Lay two layers of flypaper around the bush, and mulch with bark or wood chips on top. You need to make a layer 10-15 cm thick.
In a year, the cardboard will decompose. Nothing will remain of it. Worms and bacteria will do all the necessary work under it. Not a single weed will survive now, because the cardboard will protect currants and other berry bushes from them.
