These data were obtained by scientists from the Karolinska Institute, who observed the lives of drinkers in Denmark, Finland and Sweden for 20 years.
Experts found that mortality from various diseases was significantly higher than in control group of non-drinking research participants. On average, the life expectancy of people who drink alcoholic beverages was reduced by 28 years.
Scientists have once again confirmed that alcoholic beverages have a negative effect on the body and the functioning of various organs. Even in small doses, alcohol seriously increases the risk of cancer, dementia, impotence and infertility.
