Sweet and healthy breakfast of sour cheese in a frying pan

A soft, tender and very sweet cheese casserole in a frying pan in the morning with a cup of coffee is really very tasty and satisfying. You can cook it when you don't feel like turning on the oven, or when there is none at all, but you want to eat something delicious.

What we will need:

  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp. spoons
  • Cheese 9% – 400 gr. or 2 briquettes
  • Semolina – 100 gr.
  • Baking powder – 10 gr.
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. spoon
  • Apple – 2 pcs.

Preliminarily cut the apples into slices.

Step 1: mix the egg, a pinch of salt and 3 tbsp. spoons of sugar well.

Step 2: add the sour cream and mix well.

If you have grainy cheese, it is better to beat it with an immersion blender, this will make the cheese softer and not crumble.

Step 3: add 100 g. of semolina. Mix until smooth. Semolina can be replaced with wheat flour.

Step 4: heat the pan, add 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil. Put the cheese mixture, distribute evenly in the pan.

Step 5: wash the apples, remove the seeds and cut into slices. Place them beautifully in a circle on the cheese. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes on low heat.

Step 6: turn over and cook for another 5 minutes on low heat.

Serve the cheese dish with sour cream, yogurt, jam. You can also decorate with powdered sugar.

If you bake in the oven, 15 minutes at 180 degrees will be enough.
