Symptoms of skin cancer: six warning signs on the legs

Skin cancer on the legs often spreads before he is noticed. It is also usually the most serious type of skin cancer known as melanoma. Foot injuries can increase the risk of the disease.

The American Academy of Dermatology advises everyone to check the soles of the feet, the nails, between the toes, and the top and sides of each foot.

What symptoms can indicate skin cancer?

  • color – there are shades of brown, black, white, red or blue;
  • diameter – most melanomas are larger than 6 mm, but some are smaller;
  • the development of the spot is different from other marks on the body and changes in size, shape or color.

  • many moles or freckles;
  • skin that can easily burn in the sun;
  • red or blond hair;
  • a close relative who had melanoma.
