Syrskyi announced changes in the basic training of soldiers before going to the front

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi held a meeting at which it was discussed the extension of the period of passing basic training general military training and creation of the School of Instructors.

Syrsky emphasized that high-quality training is one of the main factors in saving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers, and promised to make maximum efforts for this.

We are working on increasing the term of basic combined military training. The corresponding project will be started in October-November this year, he said.

In addition, the meeting discussed problematic issues that affect the quality of training of military personnel, in particular, considered directions for improving training programs.

Therefore, we pay maximum attention to attracting motivated instructors with combat experience. We are also working on the possibility of creating a School of Instructors, which will be the main and only source of well-trained instructors, – noted the head of the Armed Forces.

Participants of the working meeting were heads of military administration bodies that take care of training, as well as commanders of combat brigades and heads of training centers.
