The Ukrainian Defense Forces will receive JCB HMEE for their needs. These are high-speed armored excavators-loaders, which are considered the best for military needs.

The Ukrainian military will receive modern army excavators, which are used by the best armies in the world. JCB HMEE (High Mobility Engineer Excavator) excavators have proven themselves well in difficult conditions and even saved the lives of soldiers. According to the Ministry of Defense, the department codified and authorized the use of these unique military vehicles in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“JCB HMEE excavators have proven themselves well during the performance of special work in difficult conditions and are in service with many advanced armies of the world”, – noted the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.

Such excavators were used by the American military during the war in Iraq They were specially designed for the needs of the army. In 2009, it was reported that a brand new JCB HMEE even saved a soldier's life. A strong explosion damaged the car, but he hid behind it and waited for the evacuation.

“I am extremely satisfied with the explosion protection provided by HMEE; she saved my soldier's life,” said Capt. Andrew Maxa, commander of Company B, 9th Engineer Battalion, at the time.

JCB HMEE is manufactured at a plant in Savannah, USA. During the war in Iraq, American soldiers used about 70 such armored vehicles.

What is known about the JCB HMEE army excavators

The JCB HMEE excavator weighs about 16 tons. It reaches speeds of up to 100 km/h, provides full crew protection, compatible with STANAG standards for protection against damage.

The High Mobility Engineering Excavator, or HMEE, is the first construction equipment manufactured with aggressive environments in mind. Its additional armor components, Run-Flat tires and cab rollover protection are designed to protect soldiers.
