The best option for salty pastries: sausages with cheese in the dough

You can love buns and pies, but no one can refuse sausages in the dough. It is so delicious that there are no words. And when sausages are also combined with cheese, there will be no limits to the pleasure.

The following products are needed for preparation:

  • puff pastry – 250 g;
  • hard cheese – 80 g;
  • sausages — 12 pieces;
  • yolk — 1 pc.;
  • sesame seeds – 20 g.

How to cook

Cut the hard cheese into bars to make it easier to work with. And the puff pastry must be defrosted.

Place the dough on a lightly floured table surface, roll it out and cut it into strips. Let them be 3 cm wide.

The sausage together with a block of cheese should be wrapped with a strip of puff pastry. Wrap so that there are no gaps. If the dough has gaps, the cheese will flow out after melting. Cover the baking sheet with parchment and lay out the prepared products.

To get a golden crust, brush the surface with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. It is necessary to bake for 30 minutes at a temperature of 190 degrees. Delicious!
