The body's five warning signs that you're eating too much fat

In addition to the obvious signs of weight gain, there are also hidden body warning signs that may indicate that that it is better to reduce the consumption of fatty foods such as sausage, prepared foods, etc.

Are you eating too much fat? Your own body can answer this question, experts from the German Society for Clinical Nutrition (DGEM) said. Experts recommend eating 60 to 80 grams of fat every day and carefully controlling this threshold. According to them, some changes in the body may indicate an excessive amount of fat in the diet.

Doctors named five warning signals of the body that eat too much fat.

Weight is increasing. At 9 calories per gram, fat provides twice as many calories as the same amount of carbohydrates or protein. It can quickly happen that the body regularly receives more energy than it actually needs. The result: excess energy will begin to accumulate in adipose tissue, contributing to an increase in body volume and weight.

Sweating increases.People who have been eating unhealthy food for a long time, products containing too much animal fat, may experience excessive sweating. Their large amount in food increases blood pressure, which forces the body to sweat more intensively.

Indigestion is more common. You are familiar with the feeling when your stomach grumbles after pizza or other fatty food. ? Not surprising! Fatty food is difficult to digest and takes a long time to digest. If other snacks are eaten in addition to it (which usually happens during the day), the intestines cannot cope with the load. The body's warning signals are gas, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.

General malaise occurs. What sources of fat are usually common in people's diets? Processed meat products, sausage products, industrial baked goods, fried products from fast food chains. All of them contain so-called trans fats, hardened fatty acids that have an inflammatory effect. When too much of them is eaten, digestion becomes so difficult that the body uses a huge amount of energy to repair itself. The brain does not receive this energy – as a result, fatigue, apathy, and the inability to concentrate occur.
