Honored doctor of Ukraine, cardiac surgeon, doctor of medical sciences Ilya Emets spoke about the beneficial effects of coffee on the body.
“The opinion of cardiologists regarding coffee has recently changed. This drink evokes positive moments. It all depends on the person who drinks it. It improves blood circulation in the brain, helps with a decline in strength, and if the blood pressure is low, it allows you to maintain cheerfulness during the day.
If the pressure does not rise sharply, you can drink. And it is better to do it in the first half of the day. If you are prone to high blood pressure, it is better to choose a caffeine-free option. The recommendation is the same – it is better to drink in the first half of the day,” Ilya Emets quotes.
