Conscripted men under the age of 25, who were previously considered to be of limited fitness, will be allowed to retire.
On August 5, the profile committee recommended that the Council adopt a revised draft law on introducing amendments to the law “On mobilization training and mobilization”. The document states that conscripted Ukrainians under the age of 25, who were deemed to be of limited fitness during wartime due to health conditions, should receive a deferment from the draft before the new law comes into effect.
From May 24, the status “limited use in wartime” was eliminated – Law of Ukraine No. 3621-IX entered into force. If such a conscript has already been mobilized, he has the right to be released into the reserve, the draft law states.
