In Ukraine, it is becoming more and more difficult to find professionals in the field of hotel and restaurant business. In August, the competition among candidates again reached the level of June.
But let's not forget the external factors that affected the labor market in August – massive shelling and power outages. The category with the largest number of vacancies – “hotel and restaurant business, tourism” was included in the list of areas with the lowest competition. At the same time, the real struggle among job seekers is for “remote” vacancies, – it is noted in the results of the work.ua study.
Among the applicants, the number of educators has increased, while the share of young people has decreased. The largest number of new candidates is observed in the frontline regions:
- Khersonsk (+4%),
- Zaporizhsky (+4%),
- Mykolaiv region (+3%),
- Odesa region (+2%)
The number of applicants in the fields of “Education and Science” also increased (+7%) candidates) and “Culture, music, show business” (+4%), where the largest increase in vacancies was observed in August. The trend towards a decrease in the number of young applicants began in July and continued in August. According to statistics, the number of workers under the age of 18 decreased by 36%, and the number of candidates aged 18-24 decreased by 7%. In addition, there is a 12% decrease in the number of applicants without experience.
