The doctor called a drink that “significantly” lowers cholesterol

A simple mixture of garlic and lemon juice can “significantly” lower cholesterol. High cholesterol means that there is too much fat or lipids in the blood vessels. This can cause blood vessels to become blocked, eventually leading to heart problems or stroke.
The combination of these two factors led to improvements in lipid levels and blood pressure in people with hyperlipidemia.
New study results showed significant reductions in total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and fibrinogen in the lemon-garlic drink group.
Greater reductions in systolic and diastolic blood pressure were observed in the first group compared to the third and fourth groups, respectively. In addition, the mixed group had a significant reduction in body mass index compared to the lemon juice and control groups.
However, the doctor added that it is important to use raw garlic because there is some evidence that garlic powder does not lower cholesterol. .
“A combination of garlic and lemon juice improved lipid levels and blood pressure in people with hyperlipidemia. Further research is needed to determine the appropriate doses of garlic and lemon juice for these patients.”
