Finger crunching is not just an unpleasant sound. Fans of “crunching” harm their own health, Kostyantyn explained.
“Many people like to snap their fingers or neck. This is mainly due to the tension in the muscles of the hands or neck, which leads to the emergence of an irresistible desire to “click”. When people do it constantly 20-30 times a day, it is more like motor neurosis. It's similar to how people bite their nails,” said Kostyantyn Ternovy.
This is a bad habit in every sense.
“Repeated clicking of the joints of the hands and neck leads to instability. This makes the joints loose. Loose joints lead to faster wear and tear and arthrosis.
