As the doctor explained, plant products can contain up to 50% fat, which is a very high figure. The doctor noted that some of them have a negative effect on the work of the pancreas. For example, the specialist advises using nuts, seeds, vegetable oils, olives and avocados with caution.

The therapist recommends dressing vegetable salads with lemon juice, mustard, sour cream, natural dry herbs or spices, as well as a small amount of olive oil.

“If there are seeds, nuts or avocado in your salad, then the need for oil dressing disappears automatically. You will get the necessary healthy fat from the very components of the salad,” the doctor explained.

The doctor noted that vegetable fat is very useful, but everything must be balanced in order not to overload the body.
