“Medical research and science will one day catch up with the millions of people who found healing with the help of celery juice – those who showed more energy and endurance than ever, cured both chronic and acute conditions”, according to the followers of the Medical Medium movement.
However, Dr. Deborah Lee from the Internet -pharmacy Dr Fox is not convinced that there is anything special about this diet.
“The medical community should be congratulated for encouraging people to eat more plant-based foods, including celery, which is probably good for health. I. However, it is well known that all fruits and vegetables are good for our health. In fact, it is currently recommended to eat 10 servings a day, but this is not psychic. It's common sense!”.
Dr. Lee, on the other hand, believes you can't get enough of celery juice without eating it whole.
Celery is rich in phytochemicals. and undoubtedly has healing properties, but there is no benefit to juicing instead of eating raw celery. In fact, juicing lowers the fiber content of celery and reduces its health benefits.
On top of that, Dr. Lee said the pulp—what's left of the fruit or vegetable after juicing—is really useful because it contains “a large amount of vitamins, minerals and the most important fibers”.
