Eat well before you hit the road

Legumes such as lentils and chickpeas also contain zinc, but in a less bioavailable form that is often inhibited by their phytate content, so it's best to soak them before eating to increase absorption.”

Balance your levels blood sugar

Protein can help stabilize your blood sugar, so make sure your dinner contains a decent portion and try to have a protein-rich snack (rather than just overeating chips) before bed.

If the liver fails to cope, hangover symptoms such as nausea, headaches and fatigue may occur.
