Dr. Prigna noted that blockages in the tonsils can often be the cause of halitosis. This is confirmed by a study by Brazilian scientists, the report of which was published in the British Dental Journal. When studying the indicators of patients, the researchers found tonsilloliths in 75% of people with bad breath, while in patients without this symptom, tonsilloliths were observed in only 6% of cases.
